Roots in 1998. A Growing Legacy.
Our journey began in the classrooms and corridors of Festac Grammar School in 1998. The friendships, lessons and shared experiences of those years laid the foundation for a lifelong bond and a common commitment to make a positive impact.
Our Journey
The Festac Grammar School Class of 1998 began as a group of young students with big dreams. Over the years, we have grown into a network of professionals, entrepreneurs, academics and community leaders, united by a shared heritage and a commitment to give back to our alma mater and society.
Our Vision for the FutureKey Milestones
From our time as students in 1998 to our formal incorporation in 2016 and the growing programme of education, welfare, community service and institutional development that followed, these milestones tell the continuing story of FGSCAA.
Our shared journey began at Festac Grammar School, where friendships, values and experiences created a foundation that has endured beyond graduation.
The Festac Grammar School Class of 1998 Alumni Association was formally incorporated in Nigeria, creating a structured institutional platform for the Class of 1998.
FGSCAA expanded its institutional activities, member engagement, school-support initiatives, welfare interventions and alumni communications while strengthening its operational foundation.
The Association continued to support education, student development, member welfare and community initiatives while strengthening participation and internal organisation.
FGSCAA marked its eighth institutional anniversary while continuing its education-focused impact, including the renovation and equipping of the Festac Grammar School science laboratory and other student-support initiatives.
Twenty-seven years after graduation, FGSCAA combined its Homecoming Reunion with education and humanitarian service, awarding ₦100,000 scholarships to 10 top graduating indigenous students based on WAEC performance and carrying out a charity outreach programme.
FGSCAA entered its second decade with renewed governance, a restated Constitution, updated Corporate Affairs Commission trustee records, SCUML registration and a commitment to stronger digital access, accountability and institutional memory.
