Professional Mentorship
Across professions, businesses and locations, the Class of 1998 holds a wealth of experience. The Professional Mentorship initiative is intended to make that experience available to classmates through voluntary guidance and practical support.
Mentorship within FGSCAA is offered in the spirit of fellowship: members helping members to grow, adapt and succeed.
Board-approved · Being organised
The Professional Mentorship initiative has been approved by the Board and is currently being organised. Mentor profiles, registrations and session details will be shared once the Secretariat publishes them.
Purpose
What the Programme Is For
The initiative is designed to connect members who wish to share their knowledge with members seeking guidance, encouragement or a fresh perspective.
Professional Guidance
Voluntary, experience-based advice from classmates on professional challenges, decisions and transitions.
Career Development
Support for members planning their next career step, changing direction or strengthening their professional growth.
Entrepreneurship
Practical perspectives on starting, managing and growing a business from members with business experience.
Educational Mentoring
Guidance on further study, professional qualifications and lifelong learning.
Principles
How Mentorship Will Work
- Participation is voluntary for both mentors and mentees.
- Mentoring is offered in good faith and does not create any professional, financial or contractual obligation.
- Members are expected to treat shared information with discretion and mutual respect, consistent with the Members’ Code of Conduct.
- Arrangements will be coordinated through the Association so that connections are made appropriately.
What Happens Next
Programme Details Will Follow
The Secretariat and the Career & Business Development Committee will announce how members can take part once the programme structure is finalised.
Approved members can already note in their My FGSCAA professional profile whether they are open to mentoring. This helps planning but is not a registration.
No mentor profiles, registrations or sessions are published yet. Please do not rely on informal lists or unofficial sign-up forms.
