Homecoming

Reconnecting the Class. Serving the Community. Building the Legacy.

FGSCAA Homecoming is the periodic reunion of the Festac Grammar School Class of 1998, bringing members together to reconnect, serve the community, support education, promote health and wellness, conduct Association business, and celebrate the enduring bonds formed at Festac Grammar School.

The Homecoming Tradition

FGSCAA Homecoming is more than a reunion. It is a recurring gathering through which members reconnect with one another, return to the spirit of their school years, serve the wider community, support younger generations, and strengthen the Association’s shared institutional life.

The Homecoming experience has grown to combine community service, sports and wellness activities, fellowship, Association meetings, educational support, recognition, awards and celebration.

Homecoming is generally planned on a four-year cycle, although the 2024 edition was deferred and subsequently held in December 2025.

How the Homecoming Weekend Works

  1. Day OneArrival · Community Outreach · Sports · Games · Fellowship

Members arrive and reconnect, undertake the Homecoming community-outreach programme, and then move into sporting, recreational and fellowship activities.

  2. Day TwoGeneral Meeting · Impact & Educational Presentations · Awards · Dinner

The second day brings together the Association’s formal meeting programme, project or scholarship presentations where applicable, recognition of service and the closing Homecoming dinner.

FGSCAA Homecoming begins with service: the arrival day is traditionally used to reach beyond the Association and give back to the wider community.
