FGSCAA held a General Meeting on 28 June 2025 at which the Board of Trustees presented its State of the Alumni Report.
The report provided a year-end review of the Association’s 2024/2025 financial year and examined membership, committee activity, projects, welfare, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship and priorities for the new financial year.

State of the Alumni Report
The Board of Trustees presented a broad institutional review of the Association’s activities during the 2024/2025 financial year.
The report recognised the contribution of members and highlighted the work of the Association’s active standing committees:

FGSCAA’s financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June of the following year.
The annual membership dues remained ₦36,000.
The report also reviewed efforts by the Finance Committee to recover outstanding dues from earlier financial years.

8th Anniversary and Institutional Publication
The report noted FGSCAA’s 8th anniversary activities during 2024.
It also referenced the publication of the Association’s 8th Anniversary Brochure, which documented FGSCAA’s activities and projects from 2016 onward.
The publication was intended to strengthen the Association’s institutional record and public presentation.

2024 Back-to-School Project
The report reviewed the Phase 2 Back-to-School Project implemented during the 2024/2025 financial year. The programme provided students with items including:

CAC Regularisation
The report confirmed that the Association addressed outstanding Corporate Affairs Commission annual-return obligations during the financial year.
Applications were made for outstanding annual returns and reactivation of the Association’s CAC status.
The report noted that approvals and receipts were subsequently obtained.
December 2024
Year-End Programme and Awards
The report reviewed the decision not to proceed with the originally proposed 2024 Homecoming programme.
Instead, the Association moved toward an end-of-year programme.
The 2024 Annual General Meeting & Awards was subsequently held in December, with members recognised for their contributions to the Association.
Members in good standing
Member Welfare
The report confirmed that welfare support continued to be provided to members in good standing.
Support covered qualifying events including childbirth and the loss of parents.

Financial Stewardship
The Board reaffirmed that financial reports are prepared at the end of each financial year for transparency and accountability to members.
The report confirmed that the Association maintained year-end financial reporting and reviewed historic outstanding obligations during the 2024/2025 financial year.
